CASE STUDY: A Modern Budgeting Solution for Miami-Dade County Public Schools

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) is one of the largest K12 school districts in the United States. The district is made up of nearly 400 schools, serves 345,000 students, and employs over 40,000 teachers, administrators and staff.

Due to its size, MDCPS operates much like a large complex business.

Prior to working with Meridian Partners, MDCPS was devoting a vast amount of time and energy on its budget development, procurement, audits, risk management and financial compliance. The school district knew that it needed to replace its current legacy budgeting tool with a modern, comprehensive information system.

Meridian worked with MDCPS to implement a modern K12 budgeting solution that was put into production on-time and on budget.
