Meridian Partners' core team has extensive experience in Enterprise Resource Planning as well as business strategy and reorganization, technology architecting, designing and implementing web-based eCommerce, Customer Relationship Management, and Wireless applications.

Jose B. Aleman, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Mr. Aleman is a founder and Managing Partner for Meridian Partners.  Mr. Aleman was instrumental in securing and delivering work at clients such as the United Nations, Ryder System, Miami Dade College, InterAmerican Development Bank, United Nations Relief and Works Agency, Jefferson County (Alabama), and Florida Crystals, among others. He has more than 24 years of experience in information technology, as both a consultant and a company officer.  In the 1990’s he founded a technology staff augmentation firm, Integrated Systems Group and was a partner and product manager for PC Works and its premier financial product, MultiCalc.

Mr. Aleman is currently the Chairman of the School Board of Christopher Columbus High School in Miami.  He has served on boards or committees of St. John’s Montessori Academy, City of Miami Beach Hispanic Affairs Committee and the City of Miami Beach Community Relations Board in support of his local community. 

Mr. Aleman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Florida.

Wil Martinez, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Responsible for Corporate Strategy and Sales and Marketing, Mr. Martinez has helped to secure and deliver ERP and BI work to clients such as the South Florida Water Management District, Miami Dade County Public Schools, Patriot Rail, the Houston Independent School District and RailAmerica.

Prior to founding Meridian Partners, he was the Southeast Regional Director for Breakaway Solutions, an international publicly traded consultancy. He established the Southeast office of Breakaway, and grew the region to over 55 resources and over $10M in annual revenues. He was also the Florida Group Manager for Cambridge Technology Partners, a Boston-based consultancy.

Mr. Martinez completed his undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, and currently serves on the Lutron IT Advisory Council and on the Board of the Save our Sick Kids Foundation.

Pedro Carrera, Vice President, Client Services

As the VP of Client Services, Mr. Carrera’s responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, development, maintenance and implementation of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.

Mr. Carrera has 20 years of SAP/IT hands-on and leadership experience ranging from financial consultant (SAP FI/CO) to SAP Project Manager, Director of SAP and Vice President of IT.  His experience includes 6 successful “go lives” covering the SAP Financials, Logistics and Human Recourse modules (including US and Canadian payroll).  He has also led successful SAP upgrades, database migrations, HANA, GRC, BW and BPC implementations and server migration and virtualization.  His background includes a broad range of business processes in a diverse set of industries with both domestic and international experience.  He has a proven track record of executing SAP projects and delivering results on time and on budget that are aligned with client’s business strategy. 

Bernardo Camarena, Vice President, Analytics

As the VP of Analytics, Mr. Camarena's responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the design, development, maintenance and implementation of SAP Business Warehouse (BW), Business Objects (BOBJ) and Enterprise Performance Management (BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation and Profitability and Cost Management) applications.

Mr. Camarena was previously the Division Director for the SAP Center of Excellence at the South Florida Water Management District. During his 10 year tenure at the SFWMD, he led the successful implementation of SAP at the agency.
