Senior Kronos Consultant

Meridian Partners, a leader in public sector enterprise services, is seeking a Senior Kronos Consultant to join our team. This opportunity requires a mix of business analysis and Enterprise Technology SME skills.  Communication skills are crucial to this role’s success.
While there is the possibility of future travel, due to COVID we expect a majority of the project to be remote as we comply with recommended federal, state, and local health and safety guidelines and best practices.
This position will be responsible for the facilitation of user-centric requirements sessions, business requirements definition, and documentation of functional specifications for various SAP related public sector/K-12 projects in the areas of Kronos time management and integration to SAP CATS/payroll.
This consultant takes direction from the Project Manager to support the project team.
The Senior Kronos Consultant helps to bridge the needs of the business with technology and functional specialists and should have detailed experience in the integration of Kronos and SAP.
  • Experience including implementation of Kronos workforce center timekeeper, scheduler, connect/workforce integration manager, data collection manager/workforce device manager, and Kronos terminals
  • Highly knowledgeable in support, labor management, business analysis, documentation, software configuration, scenario testing and deployment of Kronos solutions and integration to SAP
  • Familiar with solution concepts such as payroll, benefits, time and attendance, entitlements, accruals, and employee scheduling
  • Experience on maintenance and implementation of Kronos time clocks
  • Develop and support the technical design solutions for the Kronos production and non-production environments
  • Develop and maintain technology road maps for the Kronos enterprise architecture
  • Contribute towards the advancement and improvement of the overall Kronos architecture
  • Take a lead role in the engagement and mitigation of outage causing events
  • Ability to engage and effectively communicate with multiple tiers of management on highly technical topics
  •  Review, consult and prepare for planned changes being introduced to the production environment · Partner with Operations team to plan and execute Kronos upgrades and device maintenance
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one full life cycle Kronos implementation
  • Ability to plan and facilitate workshops and client sessions, document processes and system attributes, creates testing plans in conjunction with business area consultant, analyze findings with support of business area consultant
  • Supports the deployment of changes by updating and distributing documentation of system

  • Industry: Public Sector (preferred), K12 (plus)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
  • Experience: 5+ (required)
  • Skills & Knowledge: SAP Functional Experience, Process Documentation, Enterprise
