Due to a recent increase in business activity as well as opportunities in the Market, Meridian is seeking a Project Coordinator.  Reporting to the VP of Delivery, the Project Coordinator will ensure that Meridian projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. The Project Coordinator will assist project managers and the VP of Delivery with organize and control client project activities: communicating status, open issues, risks, opportunities and the overall state of consulting projects – both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Making sure project teams have the tools they need to execute the project.
  • Coordinate and report on project schedules, budget and issues.
  • Assist with project communications: preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
  • Help ensure adherence to budget: monitor expenses and implement changes, as directed
  • Help prepare summary reports for client management team.
  • Working with team members to document and address project issues.
  • Keeping up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project.
 
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects.
  • Experience with IT projects, preferably Enterprise Resource Planning software – SAP, Workday
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft productivity suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • Self-starter
