Meridian Digital Marketing Specialist

Due to a recent increase in business activity as well as opportunities in the Market, Meridian is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to work with our executive staff and the business development/sales team to create and execute comprehensive policies and programs related to marketing, communications, and advertising. This person must be hands on - it is more than creating content the right person will be responsible for doing - that mean making posts and sending email blasts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Management team and Partners to review and improve marketing strategy to drive new customer acquisition
  • Develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral, including corporate overview, service offering descriptions, and related materials.
  • Develop Client case studies, including videos
  • Develop a regular company newsletter
  • Develop and launch marketing campaigns to target Customer segments, including email campaigns, trade show and events, etc.
  • Improve Meridian website strategy and execution
    • Website, for example, should be SEO optimized and include at least the following:
      • Included detailed information on capabilities
      • Products (in accordance with partner rules and responsibilities)
      • Services (in accordance with partner rules and responsibilities)
      • Landing pages, Call to action pages
      • Case studies
  • Implement and execute social media and communications strategy, including press relations
    • LinkedIn
    • Facebook
    • Twitter
    • Email Outreach
    • etc.
  • Develop a system for measuring the success of each marketing program and campaign.
  • Coordinate all media contacts and lead Company efforts for print and/or digital coverage in relevant industry media
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events and other in-person or virtual events.
  • Develop company marketing policies and communicate those policies to the entire organization
  • Work with sales team to ensure that marketing is driving new business outreach and handing off new viable leads to the business development team
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications or public relations
  • 2+ years' experience in a corporate management role
  • Experience with enterprise software and/or professional services
  • Experience with common tools to update website, collateral, media
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing and public relations collateral
  • Ability to initiate and manage several simultaneous projects
